In my quest to get electricity to my remote garage I have a new question. The garage is a 100 from the panel. It requires cutting a 70 channel through a concrete driveway.
As an alternative I could cross the driveway with a 12 cut then run all 100 above ground attached to a block wall. I saw something that above ground requires a GFI breaker. I havent seen any 100 amp GFI breakers available. Or is what they were saying that the circuits at the sub panel need to be GFI? It would be a much cheaper alternative to run down the wall. As the long cut is a $1200 alternative. And Im too old to do that part myself.
So bottom line is it legal to run down the wall above ground? And if so what other things do I need to know about it?
Thanks in advance for everyones help.
