Elk Tractor

I recently inherited an Elk Tractor, does anyone know who makes or made it and how I can find parts to repair it?

I think that would be a Satoh brand. They had a series Elk, Bison, ?
Japanese tractors, fairly light...
do a search under Satoh to see what is available for parts.

You might want to try this topic over at tractorbynet.com, they have a forum just for mitsubishi tractors, which is who made the Elk

It is indeed a Satoh.....Japanese for POS!

I had one, unfortunately. If it is running..sell it. If not, bury it.

I bought it through a divorce sale, figuring to mow grass with it. Hindsight being 20/20, the guy should have let his ex have it.

Everytime I see a Satoh, I cringe. Nasty beasts.
