All,
OK, I got my Ring gear replaced, replaced all plugs, wires oil pan seal, distributor cap, radiator hoses, and condenser while I was at it. But I have an issue. The fluid drain on the side of the engine (right in front of the starter) had a temperature gauge added to it. I asked several folks and all said to just remove it as it was aftermarket and didn't need to be there. So I bought the original petcock to replace it BUT they must have bored the hole bigger and inserted a larger male end for the attachment. It is the same size as the Original(correct) petcock so it won't screw in. So I Tried to remove it but it was Brass and broke. So now I need to remove this and either close the hole or tap it so I can screw something in there to close it up. (Preferably the original drain). Has anyone had any issue like this, or know of a quick fix? Thanks!
