have a 1977 troybilt horse model tiller needs
new engine. engine is a 6 hp hh60 tecumseh.
what bs engines will boltup.thanks for any info.

Call the smallenginewarehouse to see if they have a replacement engine. They use a 3/4" shaft that's about 2-7/6" long. I bought a 10hp B&S with electric start back in 2006. I sold the Tecumseh for $60.00. Hal

My son just put a subaru engine on his from the small engine warehouse.He said it bolted right on. Hopes to try it this weekend if it stops raining

Harbor Freight has their 6.5 horsepower engines on sale for $99 here. Should bolt right up, and it's a Honda clone.
