exhaust/intake manifold

I ordered a exhaust/intake manifold off of here last week and got it the other day. The quality of it is no where near the original one that came off the tractor. the original was nice and smooth and round from the carb up through the runner. The one i got i can barley stick my finger in, its not close to being round. The casting inside is all messed up. I cant see how this thing can flow worth a crap. I thought about taking a die grinder and smoothing it up, but up the runner where it turns is messed up. I didnt know if there was another brand out there, that is a better quality peice. Theres no way this one is going on there. thanks

Before we sold the H we replaced the manifold. We bought it from a diffrent manufacturer, but it seems it's hard to find really good qualaity parts for it. We got ours for $119 vs. 140 here, and I'm sure we got what we paid for. It was about what you discribe yours being like. I had to knock the sand out of it, and get the dremel to do a little work. The prices I've seen on this site seem to be very low, and a very good bargain. I would think you might have to do some prep work to some things and not the others, but as with all parts you have to find of what you like and what you don't, and pay accordanly.
