exhaust manifold

I could be wrong, but the answer is yes/but. I believe the 560 (and other models) must have an offset adapter used to allow the muffler to match the hood hole. It is available. Jim

460 and 560 same manifold. You only need adaptor when you put a 806 manifold on a 560. 806 has a bigger exahust pipe at a differtant location

I just put a new complete manifold, intake and exhaust on a 70 hydro that some one had replaced the engine with a 263. The new aftermarket manifolds do have the larger exhaust pipe but it went through the hood no problem on this tractor. I have never run into an exhaust manifold on these six bangers that the exhaust was in a slightly different place. Last 460 manifold I replaced though was from CASEIH and I believe it had the small pipe. So, I can't say for sure but if an adaptor is available it must be needed on some applications.
