exhaust stack

Does anyone know where to purchase a 24" chrome stack that is 3" ID? The ones from Denny"s are 3" OD and I am worried if I try to get it swelled the chrome finish will get destroyed. I am looking to go over the pipe under the hood and clamp it so that I can take it off when removing the hood and all the ones at the local muffler shops are weld ons. Any help would be appreciated.

I purchased mine from JEG'S performace. A 3" exhaust tip available in stainless or chrome in lengths of 22", 24" and 28". The ID is 3" so it will slip over 3" exhaust pipe. Go to jegs.com and take a look. Hope this helps!

get your stack and then make your own "washer" that fits the OD of the chrome stack and then have the ID of the washer fit a 2" pipe nipple to your desired length and then mig it together, the mig will not do much to the chrome any further up than say 1 inch, hit the welded area with some high temp paint, then its solid, no clamps to worry about or gettting stuff to fit, the welded part is hidden under the hood line.

I would second that only run the 2 inch pipe almost to the top of the 3 in. then your chrome pipe won't get to hot and your motor will run just as good.

The one I purchased is a Jones 3" chrome clamp on exhaust tip. Looking at the box, I realized it was from Summit Racing. I order my wires and coil from Jegs. Sorry for the confusion. The site is summitracing.com.

Most auto parts suppliers ie O'Rielly, NAPA, Advance, Pep Boys etc carry those tips.
