Farmall 350 puller

I am kind of new to the Farmalls and I was wondering if I can use a c291 3 3/4" piston out of a 706 with the stock rods in my 350 motor?

there is a difference in compression height, good combination though for a stroker set up & not break the bank if that is possible still $1200 or more dollars for the crank

350 and the 706 gas piston use the same pin diameter. Stroke the crank to 5 inches and it will drop right in with very little modification. Watch the piston dome to cyl head clearence, but not much to worry about. After 5 inches with the 350 rods, your looking at cutting the pistons down a bit to make up the difference in added stroke, Use H rods and it gives you some more options too. 2.02 compression height for IH gas C263-301 6 cyl with the small pin, or same as the 350. Hope this helps, ChadS [email protected] or www.thetractorshop.com

I was going to just run these pistons without stroking the motor if that will work. But, what kind of money am I going to get into if I have it stroked to 5 inch?

Volbrach pistons have a 3-11/16 bore (188ci) that uses a stock stroke, bigger bore, thats for the H's, dont know what he has for a 350 block. I dont know if they have sleeves or not, would have to,,, 3-3/4 bore is a 350 block with no sleeves. His ad is in the Red Power Magazine, dont have the number in front of me at the moment,,,, Hope this helps,,, the stroker kit thru us for a 3-3/4X5 inch stroke is $2750. ChadS [email protected]
