I don't think IH started with factory cabs until the mid '60's.The only thing I ever saw for any thing that old are the heat housers for winter.
 
Some after market cabs where made for the older tractors during the time they were in regular service. They had doors on the back. Might have been made in Nebraska. Going to need some more people to check in on this one. Or were you thinking of the Comfort tractor by MM.
 
Andy, send me an email and I will send a pic of an M with a cab on it from 1949. Don't know where you might find one, but they did exist. I will try posting it here, but haven't had much luck in thet department. If it fit an M it will fit a 350.
