Farmall 460

Ok, will the hood piece from the steering wheel to just above the fuel tank from a 656 work on a 460. Or be tha same??

No. very different. A 656 utility is closer, but I doubt it would match the 460 Farmall. Jim

Thanks, found 656 with good sheet medal. Had no idea if it would work, and it was for am friend as I don't own a 460, just trying to find parts for her.

And you don want to buy a new one, there like $ 600:00 dollars!for a 656.

We have couple of salvage yards here in Oregon. I checked with one he didn't have any, will call another one tomorrow..

Ebay has a couple listed for $239 and $249. Can be had cheaper from a salvage yard like Stauffer Ag Repair in Mayetta KS - especially if you went there in person to pick it up. I was actually kind of surprised by the number of lower white panels listed on Ebay. Most of the 460/560 in my area are missing the white panel by the fuel tank.
