Farmall 560 Hydraulic issue

I have an issue with my 560 after it sits for awhile that it loses its hydraulic prime the way I describe it. It's really worse in the winter to where it won't lift the loader and the 3pt with no load and trying to raise it, it might slowly rise and might drop down then go back to rising up. Depending on how cold it is like the hydraulic oil needs to warm up it will eventually lift the loader and after that it's fine. New hyd filter, hydraulic pump was replaced 4 years ago. Has anyone run into this situation before?

I agree. Loss of prime is an air leak into the suction side almost always. Could gallons of overfill help this issue on a medium frame? Jim
