I am going to look at a 1945 Farmall A tomorrow. All the sheat metal has been removed, but is there, it is said to have new tires. May be able to pick it up for around 300.00 which I don't think is a bad price. The only thing missing is the carb. I looked on EBAY, and only saw a new one, no used. Are these carbs hard to come by?Might now be a deal If I have to but a new carb. Any comments appreciated. Stan

300 is give away price. The wide front will part out for more than that then the radiator then the head then the block then the rear tires and rims then the drawbar so do you realy think that 300 isnt a bargain buy it quick.

Think about what time of year it is- Christmas. Lots of sellers slow down because people are not buying. Waite a few weeks then you will see lots of parts on e-bay.

If the eninge isn't locked up thats not to bad a price. Bad thinig it no sheet metal which can cost you more then what you paying for the tractor. A good carb can be found for around $150 and thats rebuilt. So that price in my book is neither good or bad. I've payed less for more then that but it had a locked up enigne with a cracked block

Great price in my area, especially with two new rear tires.
