Farmall H bore

I am rebuilding a Farmall H engine, when i pull the sleeves out can i run 3 9/16" domed Super H pistons in the block with no milling or other mods?

The counter bores will overlap each other a very small amount. I had to have them machined on the sides to get them to slide down the cylinder wall. I ran Tru Power domed pistons and I had to grind and reweigh each piston because the valves would hit the top of the dome. They do fit just need a little work to get them in.

Are you planning on running sleeves with the 3 9/16 pistons? You didn't mention anything about putting them in. They will fit with the above work done to them.

yes, you can go bigger than Super H if you machine the counter bores so they do not overlap. I currently have 3 9/16 off the shelf overbore sleeves and pistons from a 350 in my H block. Have been running them for 12 years.

Mike, don't you mean 3 11/16?

How big do you have to bore the block to get those sleeves to fit?

thats i will be working on my self one of these days if i ever get a chance.....(I have to build 2 atv drag chassis first from scratch....)going to bore an h block to accept farmall 350 sleeves put on a 350 head with mild work reground cam and some other mods.... should run good for the 3,000 lbs class to 4500 class....
