hi, i have a farmall h that i am trying to take the radiator off of, when i took of the front gril i realized that the steering rod goes through the radiator, how do i get the radiator off?

Separate the front steering shaft from the steering wheel shaft at the universal joint. Clean the shaft to prevent dirt from entering the worm gearbox as it goes through the steering gearbox. Remove the bearing cap on the front of the steering gearbox and screw the worm out through this opening. Once the worm is out of the gear, pull the remaining shaft through the gearbox.

I agree with rust collector, yet sometimes the shaft wont spin out of the gearbox by hand, So if thats the case you can grab ahold of the front wheels and turn them to the left and the shaft should pop right out
