Farmall M Float

[Farmall M. Beginner]

I got a Farmall M, the float is junk and I need the needle that gos under the float.
I have found a carburetor kit that has all the gaskets and the needle but I don't need any of the other parts. I was wondering were I could find a needle with out the rest of the parts, and I was wondering if any one had a usable used float they would sale me.

I've got a kit that has just the gaskets and the float valve, and I've got the floats also.

hey rusty seaching the net for help i have got a 46 or47 farmall m the pto wont stay ingauged guessing worn pin or keeper of some sort any help will be appreciated thanks joe!

The only way you will know is to pull the entire assembly out of the tractor and have a look. You will need to drain the oil out of the rear end first. The problem you are having might be with the mechanism that engages the pto, or the problem might be where the front end of the pto shaft engages into the drive dog clear up at the front.
