Farmall m serial number problem

I have a farmall m tractor and i would like to know the year of it. i have the serial number and it is FDK-76469 and it doesnt match up with any of the numbers listed on this site. if anyone knows what year this serial number matches up with or can give me some help please email me @ [email protected].
 
Should be FBK instead of FDK. The number you give would be for 1944 model, but should read FBK-76469. Is that number off the tag or engine?
 
The serial numbers listed on this site are the beginning numbers for each model year. You have to look for the number in the list that is LESS than YOUR number, and not GREATER than your number. The only way that YOUR number would be an exact match is IF you have a tractor that was the very first one built in any model year.
