Farmall Tractor Identification

hello,
I have a farmall that has been parked in a barn for a long time and is missing a hood, grille, and any body panels. the tractor is higher up off the ground. and there is another "130 Hi-Clear" tractor also in the same barn. is this possibly this is another Hi-Clear? any sort of information on the model / year of this tractor would be greatly appreciated. I have attached photos of numbers I found cast into the engine block as well if that is any help, and the serial number tag. and a general photo of the tractor but its not the best. anything helps, thanks.

Pictures of the entire tractor will help confirm how correct the serial number tag is.

You should be able to clean the plate and see if it says 130....or 100. The J means it came with a Rockford clutch. The 130 Hi-crop is considered rare. Less than 600 built. It's worth good money,even not running. Don't let anyone low ball you on it. I know folks that are looking for one. Even missing sheet metal doesn't hurt the value. Assuming it is not some sort of Frankentractor built from pieces of several, it is either a 100 High Clearance (1057 built), 130 High Clearance (570 built), or 140 High Clearance (2861 built).

The number 354898 (partial part number of the engine block) I think eliminates the possibility of a 140. Tell us the engine number and we can probably confirm 100 vs. 130. The engine number is STAMPED (NOT CAST) into the flat area at the very top of the engine block, below the #1 spark plug.

I will inspect / clean the serial plate next chance I get. And I will get better photos of the tractor in general. Located in NJ. I’m able to transport tractor for a sale if need be a reasonable distance. I may be interested in selling soon…

I will return to the tractor later this week to investing the engine number. As well as clean off the serial tag to try and see if there’s anything else on it. And I will snap some better photos of the tractor.

I would recommend starting with dish soap diluted with just a bit of water a scrub it with a tooth brush. If that doesn’t do it maybe some 409, but that is pretty powerful. Over time the printing on the plate can fade and lose its adhesion and can be wiped off.
