what powers the planter? tractor hydraulics or pto pump? If pto pump, what make/model?

It is a rather large aluminum case pto pump, not sure of make or model. I can look for a tag on it, shot me an e-mail and I'll let you know what I find out.

JHH: Love the old 600. I see a nice 70 series as well. I can't even guess what the big 4wd is. Nice farm, I'm jealous.

Jay: Nimble narrow front 800, can't beat em. My family had a 800 gasser. My uncle just traded it in this spring for a new Massey 573. Grrrrr!! The tach was broken an only the Lord knows how many hours were on it. My guess 10,000.

Yesterday and this morning i spend time fixing the Disc and the harrow and then worked the ground that we are going plant in a Veggy garden this weekend.

Boy is that LA hard to steer.

Hey JHH...Thanks for posting the pictures. If watching the 600 and 1470 work doesn't bring a smile, I'm not sure what would. What model is the early 70 series tractor pulling the planter? I'm guessing an 870, but I couldn't get a close enough view...

JHH, WOW I sure do Love seeing them old 1470"s Still Hard at Work!!!!!!!!!!!!I have a Case 1200TK I"m trying to restore & get her Farming again. Great Job. Love to see more pics of them 70 series of yours. Jeff
