I Almost made it 22 years with out joining a social media platform but a buddy of mine talked me into joining facebook to use marketplace. But sense i am there anyway are there any good farming/classic tractor groups worth reading/joining.

I suppose it is a form of social media but i guess i mean on a large social meda platform. IMO a forum isnt realy a social media site due to the revolving questions and except for tales and tool talk most conversations only last a few days. Like i said this site is the only online interaction i have with people so i may be wrong in my assesment.

On FB, there are interest groups for anything you could imagine.
Just do a search using the word like "Oliver tractors", etc.

Sorry to burst the bubble of the members here that say they don't use social media, but the YT forums fit the description of social media, so you have at least been using social media since you joined here. If you were reading it without joining before that, you were still using it. It may be more focused than some social media platforms, and smaller, but it is social media. As far as platform size YT shows 165,926 members, who knows how many thousands more visit. As I type this it shows 155 members and 2692 guests on the site, currently.

I visit Facebook everyday. I only try to view groups that pertain to tractors & farm equipment. I was amazed at the number of different agriculture related groups. I've learned several things about tractors on FB that I was unaware of.

I started on FB a few years back. Only intended to get on the marketplace to sell off my hay because I got tired of CL What I didn't know is setting up for marketplace required an account. I got good results on the hay sales and found some deals on equipment and tools. Then I joined a few groups and go on it every day. Tried getting in touch with a few old friends but most never responded.
