I have a field general rough cut mower.. 7'

hub sheared right out of the stump jumper the other day. ( looks like it was welded in once already. )

I need to find a new stump jumper blades and blad bolts... I'm having a hard time tracking down field general.

Output shaft on the comer gearbox looks good, and is 15 spline. ( From what i understand 12 spline is LD.. and 15 is HD? )

any ideas? I'm guessing shipping is going to eat me up no matter what.

So far the deck and gearbox are good.

Fromt he research i can find, somebody actually made replacement stump jumpers with 'replaceable' weld in hubs.. I don't particularly like that.. seems it would be hard to ballance them...

In any case.. this hog ( bought used ) has either had the hub welded in.. or rewelded in.. this time it split the hub.. though left the gearbox splines untouched.

I could probably get away with reusing the blades.. they are worn.. but still there.. would want new bolts no question.

I think if I can find parts under 200$ i might keep it, as 7' mowers are spendy.. and it's not as unweildly as my 10' mower.

will post back what I find.. ( so far ).. no one in this area has heard of field general...

Agi Supply 18003450169 WWW.Agri-Supply has a lot of mower parts but I don't see a referance to Field General in my catalog. They may still have parts that will work.
