We finally got a little more snow here in the “Front Range” area of Colorado. Some of the mountain areas got 4 feet. Our’s wasn’t enough to plow, but I did anyway because it was fun.

Bring that N up here to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, we have enough snow to keep you busy till it isn't fun anymore!

How is that thing on 1/4 inch of "ice"? That is what we got here in North/Central Indiana. It is not very bad, no power outages, that I know of,just a big pain in the !!!
My jubilee is inside with chains and rear blade, keeping warm!

No new primer, but new lights & they work real good, tried them out last night for the first time.

I"ll trade you our sleet and freezing rain for your snow any day. This stuff is miserable. So far, so good though, haven"t gone anywhere today, power is still on (although I can"t say the same for all of Oklahoma), and as of 7:40 Central school is still in session tomorrow.

I used to live in Houghton County in the U.P. before I moved to Colorado, so I know what you mean. Winter was more consistent in the U.P., but here in the foothills outside Denver we can get some pretty big dumps at times. We can get 3' of snow one day and have it be sunny and 60 degrees the next, it takes a while to get used to.

We got about 4" here in the Fort since Friday. It kind of sucked shoveling it by hand. But the trees and pasture sure needed the moisture.

Earlier in the week we got 6" and I got a few hours of gloirious seat time plowing, and then took a ride in the woods on my arctic cat. went up in the mountians last night and rode 50 miles, but it all melted in the rain today :(

Hey Dan,

I plowed my drive too. I only had about 2-3 inches, but had to see if my chains are tight enough! lol

Snowed all day Saturday on this side of the Rockies. The wind blew, too (from the north) so I can't really tell you how much snow fell. In some spots it's only 2" deep and in others it's 3 feet....and that's just in my yard!

After digging out, I parked the tractor (about noon) and now there's a 2 foot drift behind it. Today I'm home from work sick (been getting worse for days....finally decided to stay home) so I'm not about to go freeze my butt off today. Maybe tomorrow.
