I have a Ferguson TO-35. The serial number on the tractor is 146145 but I have no clue what year it is. I believe it is a 1957.
Anyways, the generator on this tractor has a model number of 1100998 and it is a 12 volt system serial is 7M19.
I have looked up and down the internet trying to find a replacement. Everything I find is close but off on the last 3 numbers. It appears there are some generic generators online that simply say 'for Ferguson TO35' but I want to make sure I get the right replacement. I believe this 1100998 has the tach on it, but that tach has not worked since I got the cable and I recently learned that the tach should have a cable attached to the back of this generator which appears the cable is long rusted off. I would be okay with no Tach as it does not work now, but I want to make sure I get the proper amp rated generator so it does not hurt anything. Any ideas? I am not interested in rebuilding this even if I found a rebuild kit due to the extensive damage to the generator.
Thanks for any future comments, I think this is my best point of help.
