Finished Project

I bought this tractor the weekend after Thanksgiving. It looked pretty rough but ran fairly well considering that the front mount distributor cap was cracked and no gaskets had been used on the distributor. Many of the nuts on the head studs were finger loose with oil seeping and the main fuel adjustment screw was not even threaded into the carb. There was gravel in the gas tank and some gasoline in the radiator. ? The mild winter here in Missouri allowed me to git er done in my unheated barn. This forum provided a lot of information and I thank all of you for sharing your knowledge with others.

I live in Hillsboro, thirty miles south of St. Louis. Went to school at Mizzou in the seventies. I took care of a pig farm in a little town of Hatton for one of the professors.
