Firestone tires

I have a set of older firestone deep threads on steel rims that I use for duals. they are about 50% bar. Are these decent tires for pulling? Does anyone here run them? Just wondering if its worth my time to put them on the tractor.

They are heavy...but to answer your questions. Yes, yes and yes. They are prized possesions in our area. Very good tire over all.

Deep Tread tires are the top of the pack in my opinion. They are quite heavy, but the bars are longer, they are a very square tire, and good to cut even if wore down quite far. I've run 15.5 and 16.9. Both times I switched, it set me back up top of the traction fight. Very similar to the Field and Road tire.

mine are 18.4-38 size. not real sharp but alot of bar there to work with. whats the easiest way to sharpen them?

I got a set on my 560 yea they will add alittle weight. But they cut great mine are still good and sharp. Wilson cut mine about 5 years ago and there still as sharp as the day they got cut.
