First BN

Quick trip to GA today, picked up an A and a BN..... after owning 5 Bs Renee and I were shocked at how much smaller the BN looks . Radiator and grill are in the truck. Both motors turn.

I think he’s growing small Farmalls. Probably got a few acres of them.

I have a BN and I love driving it. I got mine from a guy who had rigged up a live hydraulic pump and added a 3 pt hitch. Kind of an ingenious set up the guy did but not what I wanted on a BN so I took off everything and made the tractor back to original again. It was funny how the guy could design and set up such a hydraulic system but couldn't get the tractor to run. He almost gave away the tractor because he didn't want to bother with it anymore and all I did was put on the correct magneto.

I have a BN that I mounted a 72 inch Woods mower deck on something like 30 years ago, still use it today!
Bought it July of 1977. Did a complete rebuild on it winter of 1985-86.

I wish they had named the model something else. Unless I have my glasses on, I tend to see that as 8N, a tractor I actually know a bit about. Have mercy on us blind folk!
