I took subject cover off my unstyled JD AR , came off fairly easy.
Now I want to put it back on. What is the procedure, do i have to
remove the Roller Bearing, or can I put it on with bearing in place ?
I tried putting cover on with bearing in place, but it doesn"t seem
to want to go on.

Thanks for your advice !

I took the cover off of my A, and as best I remember, I put the cover on and then the bearing and nut and cover. The shaft the bearing fits on will move some to facilitate fitting. Be cautious with the cam bearing spring so it doesn't fall out. I was working by myself, so I took three long bolts and cut the heads off, screwed them into the bolt holes loosly to enable me to slide the cover into place easily. Also, this makes it possible to hold the cam bearing spring in place with a knive blade or hacksaw blade while pushing the cover into place. Then remove the bolts and put the regular bolts in.
