Foot Accelerator

Is there a foot accelerator for either the 3cyl or 4cyl Ford 4000's?

I don't know about the 4 cyl models.
Ford did put a foot feed on many of the industrial models such as the 2110/4110 mowing tractors and the 3400 I parted out had one on it.
I transfered it to my 3600 and like/use it a lot.
I believe they put them on the gassers too but this one will only fit a diesel due to the way the linkage works.

Have one on my 4140 industrial. It"s a 4 cyl gas. It"s a little sticky, but haven"t had the chance to clean up and get things working better yet either.

Red Rock Mfg makes one for a 4 cyl 4000. I think the cost is a spec of $100

I see the other style on ebay once in awhile. Kind of a triangle shaped metal pedal...Jim

I purchased one from Bill Crafton's Store (on eBay)
No directions came with it, I have not installed it, still on the shelf. I haven't had time to figure it out yet, but I am thinking it should not be that difficult to figure out.

I wish I did.
The ones that Brian speaks of - from Bill Crafton have a chain in the linkage so they should fit the gassers. Dunno about the diesels.
