In the earlier thread regarding slow hydraulics on a Ford 1700 mention was made of adding a few ounces of oil to the injector pump. I`m not at all familiar with a model 1700, is this just a generic reference to the 1700 series, ie; 1710, 1715, 1720?
The reason I ask is that my 1720 with almost 1900hrs on it has not had oil added to the injector pump and I don`t recall seeing anything about that in the manual, although admittedly it has been a long time since I looked in the manual. Does anyone know if this info applies to my tractor?
