I am not as sure about the cylinders as you are. I suggest you test them using the procedure I gave you earlier in this thread.I got the hydraulic pressure checked and all read out at 2300. The loader was lifting then settles down immediately so I am sure the cylinders are bypassing.
I will get them resealed and report back.
Thanks everyone for the help.

I dont understand what you did. The test only involves one couplerI put the loader down. Unpinned the rod end of the cylinders both sides and disconnected one hose at a time and nothing happened as I worked the hydraulic lever . Base end is a bit more difficult to disconnect . So now I’m back to coupler problem?
It does not make more sense to me.I disconnect one coupler and tried to move the cylinder with the hydraulic valve then rebooked and disconnected 2nd coupler and did the same nothing happed. Cylinder didn’t move. Hopefully that makes some sense
Operation of detents is a side issue.I did that and nothing. I hooked the loader to my 930 case and loader works fine. The hydraulic valve on the bucket tilt will pop of dedent. the arms to raise will not dedent the lever and that lever “feels” different. To lower arms that lever will eventually dedent the lever.
And what?I put on 2 new sets of couplers I had here.
Appears something going on with that one valve. Hook the arms back to it then remove the rod end hose from the male coupler. Put the end of the hose in a bucket and see if the loader will lift.Same. So changed the loader arms to the bucket valve and it goes up down but a bit slow. Loader raise/lower won’t tilt the bucket, attempts to tilt but won’t. Check pressures again all are 2300,
I am really stumpe
News flash - leaking cylinders wont retract under load. The ford 3000 hydraulic loader issue is fixed. After testing the pump and couplers and getting 2250 of pressure. I reved the tractor wide open and it would slowly raise the loader and when u let off the lever the loader would quickly settle down. I had the cylinders rebuilt and everything seems very good. Loader is fairly slow but I think that’s normal with this tractor and loader does not settle.
Thank you all very much for all the help and patience. I was getting frustrated with this little tractor. Thank you all again.
