Ford 4630 shuttle shift

I had to remove the shuttle shifter and connecting rod from the 4630 to remove the cowling. When I put it back together, the shifter lever on the transmission lid moves slightly, but the transmission won’t go into gear. I suspect the connection at the bottom of the rod is not correct. Any suggestions?

It’s a pretty simple setup

Pay close attention to how the linkage is connected and adjusted at the bottom

Bolt #9 goes thru arm #8 and the notch in shift rod #13. This is an exact fit, if the wrong bolt ( to small is installed the shift rod will slip inside the arm and not move lever #1 enough to shift the gears
