Ford 6640 clutch

Got a 6640 with a slipping clutch, ordered a new clutch kit and installed the new kit. When I tighten the pressure plate(diaphram style) it is tight. I went over it several times and it is tight. Does anyone know if there is a shim kit or something to get enough room for the clutch plate. The disc that was in the tractor was a solid style which is no longer available, the new style has the springs but is only a bit thicker. What am I missing? I sure would appreciate any help.
Thanks!

Figured it out, the clutch linkage going to the shaft inside the torque tube was moving when under pressure thus not allowing the clutch to release.
Thanks for your help.
