Look for a 727 or 772, if you want an inexpensive Ford loader that will fit your 5000. Personally, I think it is well worth the extra $$ to go newer and get a quick-attach model.

I had a 4000 with a 727 loader; hydraulics were too slow -so I installed the 727 on my 5000; fit fine but I had to extend the horizontal members that go under and clamp to rear axle housing. Hydraulics good but somewhat slow, better than 4000 - I could instal a front mounted hyd pump to speed it up more but I find it acceptable as is.
