Friend has a 755A TLB. He has had problems with the hydralic fluid overheating, and is unable to determine why. The hyd cooler is clean, and has a 10 deg delta when measured with heatgun. Transmission and engine coolant temperatures are normal. Removed hyd pump and inspected, was very clean and showed no wear or obvious problems.(He is a machinist/repair man) With tractor at hi idle, temp climbs above 165 deg quicker than normal, and he has yet to determine cause. Does this model have known cooling issues/problems, or has anyone experienced this problem before. Any hints/suggestions as to cause of this problem would be appreciated, as he is at wits end. Thanks

Do any of the hydraulic functions feel funky?? There might be a valve spool partially engaging a function and with this causing a heating situation..Pay particular attention of RPMs while slightly moving all the functions one at a time.. Does it sound like it's laboring even the slightest bit without moving any levers ?? Try lowering the stabilizers or roll the backhoe bucket out to relieve any pressures and listen to the engine while doing so..Leaks make heat

If you have an automatic bucket leveller or aux. hyd's that was stuck/engaged could cause extra heat because it would running against the relief valve. Does it turn over slower when you start it? I know in my skid steer I've accidently engaged the aux. hyd's and it never dawned on me what happened. Hyd's acted funny and got real hot in a hurry. It was also hard to start and turned over slower. Drive hyd's worked fine though.
