OK, everything else has failed to help me with my carb problem so now what I want to do is do away with the sediment bowl and use an inline filter. Problem is, the gas inlet on the carb where the bowl attatchment connects seems to be an oddball size. Does anyone know where to get a nipple to fit it?

You might check to see if it is a brake line fitting size. To be honest.. I never measured mine.

Another option is to cut the line and then use a brass compression fitting/ferrule to splice in the filter.

Go ahead and leave the sediment bowl in place.. it won't hurt.. but will help.. makes a great water trap.
