(quoted from post at 00:10:36 08/12/11) I know I’m spitt’n into a fan go’n up against the “GURU’s” here, but I’m going to try this anyway. You know in your heart of hearts the information you wanted from him and the way you listed it was to make him feel small and it was demeaning.
1. “When you ask a question [b:c1a5055486]HERE[/b:c1a5055486]” (emphasis added)
2. “1. The model of your tractor (2N, 9N, 8N, NAA, etc).”
3. “If it’s an N, if the………………”. [b:c1a5055486]He told you it was an 8n[/b:c1a5055486]
4. “might need tune up, points dressed, rotten fuel, ignition switch, carb, dirty air cleaner, cracked distrib, water in fuel, bad connection somewheres, moisture in cap, low battery, charging issues. coil having issues, etc”
[b:c1a5055486]This listing here is overkill and loaded with sarcasm and you know it! Especially since you acknowledged Bruce’s listing in your post.[/b:c1a5055486]
5. [b:c1a5055486]And the topper……[/b:c1a5055486]"You can count turns can't you? .......”
[b:c1a5055486]And Elmer you said[/b:c1a5055486] “specific info willsave him time frustration and money.....”
[b:c1a5055486]I don’t think you cared about saving him squat until I called you out on it.[/b:c1a5055486]
I’m just trying to point this out from the viewpoint of a new person on this board. If you want the board to grow and new people are welcome, you might want to review your answers and the motives behind those answers. If you think I’m totally wrong, then just keep on do’n what your do’n and you can keep on talk’n to the same good ol’ boys day after day, night after night.
