ford 8n wanted

I guess I'm not ready to sell this one yet, even though I got it home two days ago and it won't start now. (starter just spins)
If you decide to scrap it I got dibs on that hood!

Dear Ford 5600

I am currently restoring a 1942 2N, if your interested. I have a 1952 8N, but I won't begin that restoration until next winter. It's kind of a slow season hobby of mine.
Let me know, I am in Middle Tennessee, just south of Nashville.

Bob in Tennessee,
on the 2n what kind of price would you have on it. is it ing good shape. Do you have a price on the 8n? My price range is 1,000 - 1,400 Thats because of the miles away it is.

Looks like you're located near Wallington.
I would run a wanted ad on the farm and garden section of the Cleveland Craigslist.
Some times they don't like wanted ads and flag them. But keep posting it and I'm sure you'll find your tractor. Maybe in your back yard. Really!
Include the price you're willing to pay.
Good luck.

The tractors that I sell are total restorations, so I would be out of your price range. UltraDogs suggestion about Craigs List is your best bet. I live in Middle Tennessee, and quite often I have seen adds for running tractors for 1500.00 and less. I restore for the fun of it and try to break even. That's actually happened once. Mostly I lose because it's hard to sell a N series tractor for what it costs to restore. At least I've saved several former pasture hulks from rusting to death and there're out there burning gas and pulling plows.

saw several listed today on craiglist in nashville tn, not sure if the year was right as they just advertised 8n, prices range from 1500-3800 from what I observed
