I don"t think that this machine is a "Funk" conversion, but rather a tractor converted to 6cyl .respectfully.---lha

Just curious as to your statement ? Why would you think this is not a funk conversion ?

Funk did not actually convert the tractors but sold the parts to dealers and individuals . I can't remember their name but I believe there was one other company that made adaptor plates .

I have a funk conversion (rail type) which did not have the hood extension but a origami piece of sheet metal , and no governor . Some customers bought all the parts and some just bought a few .

An interesting point , my funk does have 4 square wedge shaped washers for the bolts that go though the c channel's web so the nuts tighten down straight and not on a 10 degree angle . It also had a cast iron wedge plate that rotated the carb 90 degrees and set it upright and not at the angle the car intakes had .

Perhaps I'm wrong ,but I've seen several of them"up close and personal"and it just looks different.I did'nt mean to insult the tractor or anything, just that it doesn't look like the"Funks" that I've seen.---lha

ANY IDEA WHERE TO GET EXTENSION PIECE FOR HOOD TO DASH? OR DRAG LINK ARMS. I WILL PROBABLY REBUILD THE ENGINE. ANY IDEA WHERE I CAN GET INTERNAL REPLACEMENT PARTS? SIX CYLINDER

I have the same tractor i am being told there were 1 thousand of these made with the inline 6. also told it is a funk kit. and I'm in the same boat as I need a water pump for mine if you get any tips on parts please let me know. mine was burned up in a fire we are restoring it now. thanks

I have 32 0f the aluminum dash exts still in stock, 95. plus S&H or call cell 1-937-638-2098 any time, with questions on other parts. thanks Don

Your kit is a Funk which was sold to the dealers for install or resale, we intalled several of these at the dealer ship, most with junk yard engines, only a time or two did we order a new crate engine to install, I can still get the water pumps, but are remans. you would need a good core. your tractor started life with an industrial engine, most people don't boot leg a kit and then use an industrial engine, you have something worth restoring. carb kit #96-101 $21
fuel pump w/ glass bowl #592 $43
dist cap #F922 $7
rotor #F923 $4
full gasket set #FS7524S $76
exh flange gasket #60052 $3
exh manifold gasket #MS8793B $8

There was a "Glover" conversion and the "Funk" conversion . The funk conversions had the name funk cast into the adaptor , on the left side if I remember correctly .

My funk was a basket case to say the least . Ebay has lots of 226 parts at times but you need to get the side mount distributor or "H" series parts . I got mine running with an old tired 49 pick up motor I bought off of ebay for $85 . I will restore it someday but I wanted to make it whole again and move on its own power . I know they dont need a fuel pump , I just like the way they look .
