Fordson Dexta gas model

What voltage system did these tractor run under, 12 or 6 volts, positive or negative ground.
What kind of cold cranking power should a person look for when buying a battery.

Kim -
We had a gas Dexta and it was a 12 volt system. Can't remember if it was positive or negative ground though. I believe if you google Oscar's Fordson site, you'll find the answer.

That tractor operates on Lucas voltage which is both variable and intermittent. (just kidding, of course) Really can't help with a real answer. Electrical parts for your Dexta will be difficult to get, I can tell you that.
