I was told from a friend of a friend, that Buick made a rim that will bolt to the front of a D17. If so, can someone help narrow it down? Still trying to get those locus thorns disc without buying 4 new tires when I'm done.

Thanks...

Try contacting someone at Chatstractors.com those guys are very good about answering questions, they restore antique tractors in IL

I used them on my first D17, back in the 70s. Wheels were old, maybe 50s-60s, yes, from a Buick. Ran wide car tires, like maybe 8.50. Make a cardboard cutout of the bolt pattern, and search older junk yards. Could also make new centers with flat plate to weld into other wide rims.

Question to all. On the Ford pickup/ Jeep or Buick, did the centers of the rims need to be opened up to alow the hubs thru the rim?
