fuel efficient

Everytime I go out and use the MF 35 i put 2 gallons of gas in it. Sometimes its used just for minutes and sometimes more. Why isn't it full yet, its been years?

My guess is that it"s trickling out somewhere if as you state it"s used for different lenghths of time. If you can"t see or smell it then leaking through the carb(float needle valve)is the number 1 contender. Try switching the fuel off as soon as you finish using it and see if that helps. They do tend to be thirsty!!!

I use our 35 at the sawmill, so it runs often for 5 minutes or so when I am moving logs or lumber around with the front loader forks. I tend to pour in a 5 gallon can of gas and as long as I am just puttering with it it will last for months. If I am bush hogging or something like that where it is running constantly it goes through more gas, maybe a gallon per hour or something. It seems to be about as efficient as our other tractor, which is a Farmall H.

Obviously you are using more fuel then you put in, you have a leak, OR someone is siphoning your gas!
