Fuel filter leak

I replaced both of my fuel filters on a 720 deisel and now i cant get them to seal back up. I have new gaskets and removed the old ones and have tried repositioning the covers but it still has a leak on both. Any ideas? Thanks, Scott

You probably just aren't getting the canisters back on correctly if you R&R'd quad ring correctly.

I just re-did mine as well and had the same problem. I had to take the housing out, turn it upside down and clean the grooves out for the seals, then put them back in place with the canisters while upside down to be able to see that they were in correctly. Sealed up good then. Jim.

If the problem persists check the canisters for
cracks as they might have been over tightened at
some time
