fuel shutoff

I've read a lot in this forum and it's been a great help hope someone can answer this what is the packing in the fuel shutoff and where can I get it?? with he possibility of more snow her in iowa I don't want to tear into it until I have all the parts I might need
Rebuilding my engine was easy and this forum is laid out quite nicely
when I had a piece missing from carb kit the guys at YT were helpful and speedy I have rccomended this site to many people

Depending on the one you have you may tighten the packing with a wrench.

They sell new gaskets and screens here at YT. And new bowls if you need it.

If I remember right the packing is slide on before the valve is completly built which makes it hard to slide a new solid round piece in behind the nut.
You could try some string packing from a hardware store.

hey thanks for the tip just a half turn with awrench took care of that leak I really appreciate all the help this site gives
