Fuse for 3000

Use a 3 amp fuse for the oil idiot lamp. If you are wiring head lights and tail lights you need to calculate the appropriate size fuse. Simply use the formula Amps = Watts/Volts.

For instance I put a 3 amp fuse between the "A" post on my ignition switch and the oil idiot lamp and a 10 amp fuse in the light control box.

My Head lights are 55 watts each and tail light is 55 watts on a 12 volt system, so 125 watts total divided by 12 volts equals a 10.4 amp rating. I will go up to a 15 amp fuse if I have problems with the 10 amp fuse burning out.

Hope this isn't too much information.
