Hi All,
I have a 1500d and my turn signals had stop working, so i replaced them with a different type and removed the flasher and installed a new switch. I dont need signal lights.
After completion still no tail lights so i started testing the circuits. Finaly after about 3hrs work the little wire fuse was blown right at the base of the screw.I straiten the wire out enough to reinstall it and lights work.
So...can i replace the current fuse block with a more modern type fuse block without damaging anything and where can i purchase one?
Thanks, David

The replacement fuses are here --

But there will be no problem going with an aftermarket fuse box. There are tons out there. A quick search found this

and some here

but there are lots of different styles. Just look for accessory or auxiliary fuse box. You will need to replace the fuses with 15A or less though.

There are tons of automotive type fuse boxes on the market, or you can just break open a standard glass fuse and use the wire out of it.

thanks for the info....I went to NAPA and they had just about the exact replacement part. a six terminal fuse box that took about an hour or so to cut all the wires and install new ends to go onto the new fuse box.
