There was a post here (I think) 3-4 weeks ago or so re" some gasoline additive that supposedly actually worked to reduce tailpipe emissions...meant to note it to check on it, but forgot, and the post is now in the archives somewhere.
Have browsed the archives under add, additives, fuel, gas, gasoline without success; does anyone here remember the name of the stuff??

Hi NC,

Just run the tank low then add a large dose of alcohol will pass any emission test then fill up with regular gas after the test.

10-4 on the Sea Foam. I have a '91 Ford 460 gas hay truck that only gets used during the hayin season and has to pass the annual emissions tests.

Was having a problem till I started using Sea Foam in the tank. Pass with flying colors now and the engine runs strong; tailpipe clean. Engine has about 250,000 miles on it.

Auto parts stores have it; white and red pint can.

Get enough to put in your outboard motor, your tractor, your lawn mower, weed eater, chain saw and anything else that has an internal combustion engine. You won't be sorry.......and do it before you replace the old with new thinking it's worn out. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Somewhere, back a few weeks to a few months, it was said here on the forum you could buy it at the drugstore under that name. Mike
