I meant my uncle was in it I’m just finding out what material he needs
I do not see how anyone can tell you about the correct material without knowing where it is actually leaking and if it is a gasket or an O-ring or another sealing method.

I maybe searching wrong, but I can't seem to find an IH 252 tractor, compact or otherwise, could it be a 254? I suggest your uncle study the correct parts book and purchase the correct gaskets and seals, if he wants to try repairing his injection pump. Gaskets inside a pump, are often thin and fine, not anything to be tapped out with a ball peen hammer, scissors, and some hole punches.

I understand you are trying to learn. To me one thing that will help is to tell the complete, true story when you post, such as that you are asking this for your uncle (if he actually asked you to post this here). Your post indicated you were doing this repair yourself. How would anyone reading it know you meant your uncle was doing it and you were asking for him?

Blowing smoke won't help you. This may seem harsh to some, but I am telling you the same type of things I tell my grandson.
