Hi all you tractor lovers i was told to come to this sit because you guys my be able to help me i'm looking for some cooper head gaskets for a jd a and a jd b the a is a 1948 and the b is a 1951 i was told they make them but a can't find them i would be very greatful for all the help you guy's can give me thanks for your time

With Copper head gaskets you have to have the surfaces machined way smoother and straight than with a regular gasket. At least my machinist says so.
You can get them from Lubbock Gaskets out of TX google them.

This is not for sure but I think I remember reading that someone on the tractor pulling board hand makes them. Might be just for farmall but it would not hurt to ask over there as well.

Coat Copper head gasket with RED RTV. Retouqe head after EVER heat cycle until the torque stabilises.
