Getting married tomorrow. Took the big iron over to the reception hall to guard the driveway.

That was a curve ball. Gate Guard in TX is actually guarding a gate and checking in/out oil workers and trucks.
Congratulations on your life sentence, er, marriage!
I still remember what the preacher told us in pre-marriage counseling. He looked at me and said. " a successful marriage required 100% work and dedication. Some days you might only contribute 10%, which means you wife must contribute 90% to reach that goal. Repeating that often is a sure recipe for a failed marriage." We'll be married 31 yrs Oct. 6. and I work at it daily.
