gooseneck grain trailer

Looking for a used gooseneck grain trailer. 14 or 16 foot Tandem duals or 3 axle. Electric over hyd. dump. Want a good one-good floor, brakes, lights etc. Midwest-3-400 mi. of SW. Mo. Anyone have one for sale

Back when these grain trailers were popular around here the local elevator reminded the owners to plumb a pioneer style male hydraulic connection into the trailers hydraulics so the elevator could hook their hose to the trailer to lift it when the electric/hydraulic unit gave out. Most of those goosenecks are gone now because the owners got tired of the expensive repairs to their pickups because of the trailers. A few of them pulled it with a small semi tractor. That way they had a much sturdier horse in front of the cart. Jim

Nothing wrong with a tri axle they work just fine you just can't drive like a idiot when their loaded. I got one and my nabour
We both have had good luck with them also pull it with a 3/4ton chevy duramax the truck handles it fine. But I did upgrade to a semi this year just got to big for that trailer but still use it. It has been a good trailer.

Ran across this number here in Kansas. (16' Gooseneck Hydraulic Dump Grain Trailer with hoist. 785-822-5300) HTH Tom
