Got my Chains Today

I ordered and recieved some good Lawntractor Chains (Crosslink every 2 inches.)

Thought I would get them early and already have some suitcase weights for the LA135 SE.

Thinking about getting a small Blade for it for small work and use the Farmall for the big snowfalls. Need to clean the carb in the Walk behind blower too!

Haywood, if that's a JD LA135, take it easy, great LAWN tractor. Transmission won't hold up to heavy work like blade work.

How about the Snowblower they sell for that model? Providing it is only used within it's limitaions?

Blower shouldn't give you troubles unless you start using it for hours at a time. The tires are like the fuse. The bigger fuse (chains, weights, big operator, etc), the shorter the life. Spinning is good. If it's not spinning, the fuse is gonna blow. Make sure you keep the engine at full speed. Even in the winter, tranny can overheat (engine drives the fan)
